1985 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit/Spur/Dawn - Spur III

Here is a really interestingly original presenting Rolls-Royce Silver Spur finished in white with chocolate hide interior with cream fine-lines, chocolate rugs with lambswool moutons fitted. The twin fine lines to the waist-rails are hand-painted in matching dark brown.

The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur is powered by a 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce designed V8 engine with the Bosch fuel injection system which provides ultra smooth touring. 

The car was, and always has been, a Texan car so it is entirely rust free and clean.

The car is a super original presenting example that has had a mountain of cosmetic restoration and mechanical maintenance carried out over the last 10 years. A file comes with the car and receipts total some $100,000. Yes, you read that correctly!

Besides all the regular maintenance on the car; engine, hydraulics & brakes, drive train, suspension and so on, the previous owner was rather incessant about getting everything perfect. So much so, that he had the seats and door panels completely re-upholstered in original matching Connolly-equivalent hides. The cost? almost $15,000. The final finish is amongst the best "original-looking" interior leather I have ever seen on a SZ series car. The stitching, crowns, pleats and the leather itself is perfect.

A new Everflex top was also fitted.

In terms of specific maintenance work carried out, there is simply too much to list here but a complete file of all work does come with the car. The important things done include; brake pumps, accumulators & gas springs, rotors, hoses, new radiator and all hoses, belts, suspension bushings, tyres, fuel system filters lines and ancilliaries. The list does go on and the new owner will enjoy the fruits of all this work previously done.

The body of the car is straight and the paint nice and shiny. The paint appears to be original and is in excellent condition without any crazing, dents, dings, scratches or chips. She presents very consistently, deep in lustre with almost no imperfections. Rubbers, mouldings, badges and external fittings are all in good condition. Glass is excellent.

All major electricals and features & functions are fully operationally to include; windows, seats, mirrors, central locking, A/C, heater, exterior & interior lighting, wipers, etc.

This is a true, "take the keys and drive" example with no additional budget needed to attend to any nuances or gremlins.

The car is of very high standard and is an easy 10+ out of 10 driver rating.
